Sensei Keigo Abe was a prominent Japanese master of Shotokan karate who founded the Japan Shotokan Karate Association in 1999 and is its Chief Instructor. He holds the rank of 9th dan in karate, is a direct student of Masatoshi Nakayama

Sensei Tej and his team endeavours to continue the legacy of Shihan Abe in Mauritius.His objective of our Karate Teaching is to develop the mind and spirit of all students from beginners to black belts of all ages. He wants many people participate in martial arts as a fun and unique form of exercise. This practice also helps individuals gain self-confidence, learn to persevere, and develop discipline. A martial arts instructor leads students in various self-defense and fighting techniques. Sensei Tej also helps students strengthen their characters.
